Our wedding is just around the corner, and with so much going on it's hard to stay in touch as much as we'd like. We've created
this web site to help fill everyone in on our plans, and to offer information we thought might be useful to our guests. We'll

Hampton: 871 Cobb Place Blvd.; 770-426-0017. We have arranged a special rate of $89 per
night - Hilton; $95 per night - Hampton (website below). Other hotels close by can be found right off of I-75.

Atlanta Braves schedule: At home against the Dodgers May 29, 30 & 31.
Lake Allatoona Lake, just minutes from Acworth. Red Top Mountain, just minutes from Acworth, great hiking trails.
Amicalola Falls - Located in Amicalola State Park, these falls plunge 729 feet in seven cascades. Designated as
on of the seven wonders of Georgia, Amicalola is the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
Directions:
Take GA Highway 52 east from Ellijay or west from Dahlonega. Amicalola is about an hour and a half drive north of Atlanta
from either Highway 400 or from Marietta area up Interstate 575 to 515.

Golf:
Plenty of good public courses to be found around here... if you're interested in getting together Sunday for some golf, let
George know - closest course is Cobblestone in Kennesaw – challenging and beautiful.
Others close by include Bent Water, Bradshaw Farms, Town Lake Hills, and Eagle Watch.
Shopping...
lots of it, plenty of Outlet Malls close by.

From I-75 North
Take exit 267A – Canton Rd./Hwy 5 North
Travel approximately 4.5 miles, going through five (5) traffic lights (the
5th light will be at Chance Road –
there is a Wendy’s at the corner)
After going through the 5th light, Brackett
Road is the next street on the right-hand side (there is an Oasis Car Wash at the corner)
Make a right onto Brackett Road.
Go approximately ½ mile and make a right into Shaw
Park.
Drive past the baseball fields and you will see the Northeast Cobb Community Center
sitting on top of the hill to the left.
From West Cobb
Take the East-West Connector/Barrett Pkway eastbound, towards Town Center Mall.
Travel approx 3 miles past the mall and you will come to Canton Road.
Make a left onto Canton Road.
Go through two traffic lights. The
2nd light will be at Chance Road (there
